Friday (1st Oct 2010) was spent in and around Epcot – as we have been staying at Beach Club (one of the Epcot Resorts) we have been into Epcot each day but never spent any considerable time there to do all the rides.
First up we managed to get mum to go on the Test Track ride – a convertible that simulates testing of a GM car over various terrain, cornering and speed – finishes with a speed trial where you hit 65 mph so mum had to hold onto her wig.
Other rides we did were Spaceship Earth (the big globe below and the kids favourite), Ellen’s Energy Adventure, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Living with the Land (mum’s favourite as was boat voyage through green houses), The Circle of Life film and Mission Space (my favourite as you really pull some G’s on this one).
After all the rides everyone went back for a rest except Emily and I carried on as usual – we did the Mexico and Norway pavilions and Emily did the Kim Possible secret agent explorer that they have which took us all over the Norway pavilion on secret missions.
