Last weekend was a sad milestone in our lives as we took our first holiday without Molly – we headed to Singapore and Universal Studios while Molly headed off to Bangkok for SEASAC Basketball. Although only 14 she was playing for the U18 team and so that plus us going away without her makes it all seem she is so grown up – plus finding out about her new boyfriend.
SEASAC is the South East Asia Student Activity Conference and is a federation of the international schools and holds many sporting and academic events across the SEA region. Always very proud when they get selected for SEASAC representation.
The basketball this year was at the Bangkok Patana School where the facilities are amazing. GIS U18, as Molly puts it, were the best of the worse – so they were happy with their efforts. They did do well given that half their team were the top U15 players playing in U18. The competition is very high and so great experience as well.
