Around Krabi

As you can see by earlier posts, our Chinese New Year was spent in Krabi, Thailand.

Much of our time was spent relaxing at the Beyond Resort Krabi. But through out our 5 nights we took in Buggy Riding, a Sunset Cruise with Snorkelling and a Cliff Dive and Scuba Diving.  The girls got very burnt while Scuba Diving which meant the following day, our last day, was just relaxing around the pool.

Being Thailand, Long Boats were the mode of transport between Islands – while Tuk Tuk’s and hired Motor Bikes were our main land transport.

Food, as always, is one of the many enjoyable aspects of Thailand.  Emily has started to get into chilli dishes and ordered a few dishes that at times tested her with their hotness.

We had dinner at The Coconut Restaurant twice, it was that good. For dessert the first night the girls and I had deep fried Ice Cream while Kerrie had the fired Pineapple with Ice Cream – both are recommended to finish off a great meal.

Hahaha, nice shots; I liked how you ended on a laid back note. Good stuff. It really brings me back to Thailand. I love it.

I live in Korea and also blog about East and Southeast Asia, and I’m always looking to connect with other bloggers who share similar interests. My latest post actually is a humorous piece on the things I’m telling myself to feel better about not being able to go to Thailand this winter. Please visit us (it’s a collaboration with a few friends) at SweetPicklesAndCorn if you have a chance. Cheers, and enjoy your travels!
