Leap Frogging Scotland

Every Castle we visited in Scotland saw the girls take time out to play Leap Frog – their way of putting some excitement into viewing the many castles throughout Scotland.

Most castles are in ruin but you can see that a lot has been done over the past decade or more by Historic Scotland to let you be able to visit the ruins and also walk amongst and within the remaining structures. The restorations are well done and often in a way that gives you a real feel for what the castle would have been and how it was constructed.
