We kicked off Kerrie and Emily’s last Friday (12th December) night in Kuala Lumpur much the same way it had started, 4 years earlier, with a night out in Bukit Bintang. Bukit Bintang is the shopping and entertainment district in Kuala Lumpur.
We started with dinner at one of the many seafood restaurants in Jalan Alor – this is one of the most famous roads in Kuala Lumpur with lots of outdoor restaurants and hawkers it is always bustling. We had a great meal of salted Sotong (Squid) and banana fish which I then finished off with Durian.
Following dinner we then took a stroll along Changkat Bukit Bintang with its clubs and finer restaurants and then down to the Pavilion to see its outstanding Christmas display. Over the 4 years we have been in Kuala Lumpur, Christmas has become more and more popular to now where it rivals most countries in it’s commercialism of Christmas.
Molly was not with us as she was spending the night with Clio and other GIS friends – we found out later she was at Bukit Bintang, but not until later that night enjoying one of the clubs in Changkat Bukit Bintang.
