Christmas 2014 is at mum and dads in Albury, New South Wales, Australia. Although not a lot to do in Albury there is a lot to do within the region as it is at the base of good wineries, the Snowy Mountains and historic towns from the Gold Rush era.
This time of the year the region is ripe with fruit and berries and as such we all went out last Monday to get our fill by picking and eating our own – raspberries, loganberries, blackberries, cherries, blueberries and currents were all ready for the picking and eating.
Kerrie made the most of eating the berries off the vine and enjoyed it all a bit too much – especially the raspberries!!!
Cherries are most prevalent and grown widely throughout the region – they also are fun to pick as you meander in and out of the trees.
