Attended Mahler’s Symphony No. 7 at the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas as presented by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra with guest conductor Fabio Luisi.

I do not know much about classical music but I do enjoy attending and listening. You could definitely feel the darkness of the first three movements and the energy in the last two with this. Gustav Mahler (7 July 1860 – 18 May 1911) was an Austrian late-Romantic composer and his Seventh Symphony was written in 1904–05.

The crowd was small but then so is the Dewan Filharmonik which made it fell quite intimate. With the Dewan you certainly do not want to pay for the expensive seats as you are not in that much a better position.  Either go for the cheap seats up front and get close or the next grade up which are at the back but still close due to its small size.
